Blender's compositor is very capable when it comes to color adjustments and image effects, but many of the tools that artists expect are not built in or do not work as expected out of the box and need to be built from scratch. Jonathan has taught 3D modeling with Blender at CG Cookie for the past 8 years and also leads the add-on division at its sister company, Orange Turbine, which develops Retopoflow, UV Flow, Render Raw, and a handful of other Blender tools.
